In this Community Volunteer Day, participants will learn about Unadilla Community Farm’s Northeast SARE funded 2-year study on dynamic accumulators, while performing springtime maintenance on beds of several dynamic accumulator species.
Come help us propagate herbs and learn how to root softwood cuttings of chocolate mint, lavender, spearmint, bee balm, hairy mountain mint, French tarragon, and Saint John’s wort. Each person gets to take home 2 potted cuttings of their choice!
Come join Unadilla Community Farm for our annual garlic planting this fall! Learn how to prepare the bulbs and soil for planting & how to build and use a dibbler wheel.
Come help us clean garlic bulbs, to prepare the garlic for donation to local food pantries! Each participant gets to take home a pint of garlic.
